“No one is allowed to frighten what is mine.” -Hollowstalk the Scarecrow

We did it. It’s launch day for The Scarecrow’s Queen, and Monster’s Duet is complete.

A year ago, when we planned this project, I don’t think we quite understood how big our vision would become. But we should have known. We’re ambitious, and well… we committed to making Monster’s Duet great.

It’s been an adventure, becoming coauthors of not just one but two books. It’s been a learning experience like none other, and I’ve grown so much in through this process. There’s nothing like coauthoring to get out of one’s head and explore another’s methods in writing craft and publishing.

Thanks to Naomi for taking this plunge with me! –xoxox, Mel

Want to learn a gargoyle’s secret name?

It’s time. A Gargoyle’s Delight is available, and we’re thrilled to bring you this book just in time for the spooky season.

I hope you find this romantic adventure to be frightful and endearing. In A Gargoyle’s Delight, readers will adventure with Summer as she faces a demon while wielding a gargoyle’s secret name.

Next month the celebration will continue with the launch of The Scarecrow’s Queen in which Delilah inherits a farm and its haunted scarecrow. And in other exciting news, the audiobook of A Gargoyle’s Delight is available October 10.

Enjoy and happy reading! xoxox, Mel

“I am a monstrous creature, a mate no human should want. I am not handsome or soft—I’m hard and unyielding. I was not made for attraction, desire. I am supposed to be fearsome, avoided. My image is used to guard the sanctuaries of humankind, to frighten off the very demons that would corrupt their minds and devour their souls. A being like me was never meant to be invited inside. Never meant to be loved.”

Spooky season nears with the launch of Monster’s Duet

Hopefully, I’m not the only one starting to crave sweater weather… The cool temps, cozy drinks, and of course, curling up with a good book.

For those of you who can’t wait for Sept 1 and the release of A Gargoyle’s Delight, here is a three chapter preview! May this be your friendly reminder that there are cooler days lie ahead.

This link directs to Bookfunnel where you can view the preview in browser, their app, or send the file to your ereader. Preview is available on until August 31.

Gargoyle Romance meets Night at the Museum when Summer discovers she’s been working with a gargoyle who only wakes at night.

Dragons, Gargoyles, and Scarecrows, oh myyy

It’s a cover reveal sort of day.

Cursed with the Dragon Prince is shiny and nearing publication. To celebrate, here’s a cover and blurb reveal! Keep scrolling to learn more about Monster’s Duet, my coauthor project with Naomi Lucas.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧. During a storm at sea, I’m tossed overboard and my family abandons me. Stranded, I wake on a beach with black sand, discovering I’m far from my human home and marooned on the Isles of Fae.

I’m found by a dragon fae, a powerful prince, who upon seeing me, is consumed by rage, chasing me into a dark cave.

Despite his terrifying strength, I learn he is as lonely as I am, and soon, he craves for me as I lust for him. Except we remain divided, bound to the roles expected by his clan.

They call me the Blessed One. Their deity has cursed them for their king’s transgressions, but if I survive the rites of queenship—surrendering my future, risking my life—I can end their curse.

My family 𝑑𝑖𝑑 abandon me. The offer 𝑖𝑠 tempting.

Excited to announce my coauthor project: Monster’s Duet! I’ve teamed up with Naomi Lucas, my awesome friend and editing client (Naga Brides) to write two monster romance novels.

Two heroines will be chased, spooked, and ultimately loved by their beastly men. Together, these characters will face dark forces in their chaotic worlds. Set in a small town, these somewhat cozy, somewhat horror, romantic adventures mix survival and mystery. And of course, every adventure ends with a HEA.

These monster romances will NOT be for exclusively sweet romance readers. Consider this your first (of many) warnings.

To ensure these stories are everything we dreamed they could be, we’ve been pushing ourselves and each other to become our best author selves. And now the preorders are live. Can’t wait to share these with you next fall!
