A new year for new reads

Well, we made it—2020 is officially the past. And congratulations are clearly in order! (Seriously.)

In other news, Wing Builder is staying on pace, and I’m planning an April release. More details soon—including a cover reveal and preorders starting next month! So stay tuned!

For those who want to know a little more: I’m halfway through my big edit. This is the point where the story’s details rise into focus and the prose is shaped towards its ultimate form. Once this edit is complete, it’s only be a matter of running the manuscript back and forth with my editor and… voila, a new Mel Braxton book will be released!

(I wish it was as easy as writing that sentence.)

Anyhow, take care as the trials of 2021 begin, I can’t wait to return with more updates.

Mel Braxton

Wren knew she was weird, but she also believed she was human. When an assassin attacks, Wren learns she is an heir for a winged people… a people who sent her to Earth because she was born flightless.

Ezal has cursed gray wings. But they didn’t stop him from becoming a protector. His newest assignment is to guard Wren, and he will keep her safe at any cost.

When an assassin strikes, Ezal whisks Wren to Letharia. It’s a dreamy dimension of land-islands and magic, but uncertainty lurks under all beauty. After all, the Blight gave Ezal gray wings and made Wren flightless. Letharia’s leaders are petrified of the Blight, and nothing will change unless Wren becomes a lady.

To claim her inheritance, Wren must marry someone with wings—and quickly! As white-winged bachelors prepare to become suitors, nobody realizes that Ezal has captured Wren’s passions.

Together, Ezal and Wren navigate mysterious attacks and political maneuvering. Danger whirls about them, and they must discover if they have the courage to choose love
