My path towards writing was pretty nonlinear. I grew up in the Midwest and studied engineering back then. My husband and I got married after college and drove off to California to get our PhDs. Upon graduation, I subsequently burned out in my first engineering job.

I decided to reinvent myself as an author. My amazing husband deserves every shout out for all the amazing support he has given me through this transition.

Now I’m in Portland, OR where I write tales of toe-curling love, stabby heroines, twisty plots, and otherworldly places.
